We’re thrilled to announce powerful new updates to our product suite. Highlights include the enhanced Security Business Review with scheduling and auto-send capabilities, automated user management, and advanced branding options. Plus, we’ve improved suspicious login detections and phishing simulations. These updates are designed to empower MSPs with superior security, efficiency, and customization capabilities.
Business Review – Scheduling & Auto-Send
The Security Business Review was released last month to update the previous “ROI Report”. This multi-page report is designed to give MSPs a streamlined way to discuss security risks and demonstrate value directly with customers.
The business review can be spun up on demand but will also be automatically generated monthly or quarterly (depending on preferences). When a scheduled report is ready, admins can be automatically sent an email.
The Reports page has a new design, combining the Prospecting Report with the Security Business Review. Settings for the scheduled report can be managed in the new “Security Business Review” tab.
- Scheduling can be set for monthly and/or quarterly
- Auto-send will email MSP admins when the report is ready
The on-demand version of the report can be created from the “New” button on the top bar, the Growth Hub, the Customer page, or the Reports page.
The Security Business Review is your answer when customers ask, “Why do I need to pay for security?” Use the new scheduling feature to ensure you have the relevant data on hand for these business discussions.
Automate User Activation and Deactivation
We are excited to introduce enhanced control over user management with our latest update. Admins now have more flexibility in how users are activated and deactivated in Guardz, including the ability to automate based on activity in the cloud directory (Google Workspace and Microsoft 365):
- Choose whether Guardz automatically activates or deactivates new users or if you prefer manual activation.
- Group-Based Activation and Deactivation: Specify from which groups a user will be automatically activated or deactivated.
The feature can be found on the Users Page -> Settings and the Cloud Directory security control.
This new addition provides greater flexibility, automation, and control over user management, ensuring that access aligns with your organizational policies and security needs.
Branding & White Label Override
MSPs can now manage Organization Settings for individual customers by overriding the global settings.
MSPs typically want to put their logo and contact info front and center for their users. However, exceptions do exist where some co-managed clients prefer to have their own logo and details visible to build confidence and trust with their employees.
This enhancement provides greater flexibility, making it easier and more efficient for MSPs to manage customer settings in one place.
Key Benefits:
- Streamlined Management: MSPs no longer need to log in to individual tenant accounts. With just a few clicks, you can manage specific settings for each customer.
- Customization: The ability to override global settings per customer ensures that each organization can have tailored configurations that meet their unique needs.
This feature empowers MSPs with enhanced control and efficiency, simplifying the process of managing multiple customers.
Improvements
- Suspicious logins are an integral detection within the cloud directory posture, identifying users at risk for account compromise. A recent enhancement to these detections now raises the issue severity of admin users with abnormal login activity, as well as any logins from high-risk countries (e.g., Russia, N. Korea, etc.).
- Phishing Simulations are an essential method to gauge security awareness and identify “weak links” across the employee base. Failed users can be mistakenly identified when 3rd part email security triggers a link or causes a false positive. A new improvement has been implemented to more accurately detect users who fail the simulation and generate relevant issues that will lead to further user training.
We can’t wait for you to experience the newest updates! Keep your eyes peeled for more to come!
